Muhadhoroh and English Public Speaking Skills: Benefits, Challenges, and Strategies

In the modern era, Islamic boarding school education has changed forms of adaptation to times. One them is existence term Modern Boarding School where system combines national and international curricula adapts needs students. Extracurricular activities are one that exist in schools. This activity known as Muhadhoroh. study explores Muhadhoroh English-speaking skills related benefits, challenges, strategies for these activities. uses a descriptive qualitative method. The research data were obtained from interviews, observations, documentation while participants this three English teachers who teach at Amanatul Ummah both Indonesian foreign teachers. analyzed four stages, namely collection, display, reduction, conclusion. results indicate could provide opportunities students develop talents field public speaking because had opportunity perform various kinds performances public. Related challenges including preparation, time management, facilities. Even so, several be taken overcome arranging preparation performance schedules, utilizing free shifting schedules into well adding facilities by renting equipment other parties during limited location number only type instrument.
